This flooring system is used in children’s playgrounds and gyms. It is produced in 50×50 cm or 40×40 cm sizes and in thicknesses of 2, 2.5, 3, 4, and 5 cm. Its purpose in children’s play areas is to minimize injuries thanks to the material’s flexibility. During application, it is glued to the floor with a two-component polyurethane adhesive. It is produced in two colors: red and green. Completely recycled materials are used in its production. Rubber tile materials are used in fitness centers as well as children’s playgrounds. Rubber tile flooring, preferred in many areas where flexibility is paramount, is manufactured from recycled materials. The manufacturing process involves mixing SBR granules with a specific ratio of binder and dye in mixers, and then subjecting the resulting mixture to pressure in hot presses.
